Welcome to Kleoniki Hair. In using our Website, agreeing to any booking and engaging any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms as well as any and all general terms and conditions posted on our Website from time to time and our privacy policy. We reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time. You need to ensure you review the Terms from time to time. Amendments will be effective immediately upon publication on the Website.


“Clients” means any customer or person engaging our Services.
“Quotation” means our quote for the Services you request.
“Products” means the various products that we sell including but not limited to
shampoo, conditioner, dye, gel, spray, clay, masks, hot tools and other similar products.
“Services” means hairdressing services including cuts, colours and any other related
“Website” means www.kleonikihair.com.au.
“We”, “our” and “us” means the Trustee for the Kleoniki Hair Trust (ABN 77 303 084
070) and includes all partners, employees and contractors.
“You” means the Client engaging our services. By doing so, you agree to these Terms.


You need to make a booking with us and agree to these terms in order to secure your appointment. If you make a booking using our Website, you agree, on making the booking, to the Terms. If you otherwise agree to a booking via mobile phone, by making the booking, you are agreeing to these Terms. 

Once your booking is made and we have taken your credit card details to secure your booking, you acknowledge that we will have arranged to have that date and time slot available for you, and we may have turned away other clients. For this reason, all cancellations and changes are subject to our terms below, as described in the “Cancellations, Alterations and Refunds for Services” clause of these Terms.

If any additional Services are required at the time of delivery of the Services, we may or may not permit them at our discretion. Sometimes time limits will not enable us to perform additional Services. Any additional Services will be subject to additional fees, as set out in the “Additional Fees” clause of these Terms. Our times for performing the Services are estimates only.

If you are unsatisfied with the Services you have received, please inform us within seven days of your appointment. We will make the required adjustments to your hair without a fee, provided you have not made any attempts to alter the hair service we provided. As we have already provided the Services, no refunds will be given for our Services unless otherwise approved by Kleoniki management or required by law.


Consultations are an important part of our Services. This is where the magic begins so please bring photographs to help us with your inspiration. Consultations are complimentary and you can expect a Quotation for Services prior to commencement. Please keep in mind that final results may differ from photographs supplied due to various circumstances which may be out of our control, including the nature of your
hair, colour or style chosen, thickness, and other characteristics.


We provide a complimentary dry-off service for clients having colour Services. This is a basic process that simply removes moisture from the hair and enables colourists to see how the colour looks on your hair. If you require your hair to be styled a certain way, please book an appointment for a blow wave.


We offer complimentary fringe trims if you have visited the salon for an appointment within the last eight weeks.


All prices are in $AUD and are subject to change without notice. For accurate pricing please request a complimentary in salon consultation. All prices given over the phone, email or social media are estimates and may not be the final price for Services required. Our pricing structure reflects the educational level and technical experience of our stylists and colourists.


We require full payment on completion of your appointment, or when you place your online order. 

We accept cash, direct deposit, Visa, Mastercard, After Pay and Paypal. We take reasonable security steps and measures to protect your privacy against any unauthorised access, alteration and disclosure.


Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the start of your appointment. This will ensure you receive the full service and experience that you have booked in for. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are running late, we will try our best to accommodate you, however, keep in mind that we may have to reschedule your appointment if we do not have enough time to undertake or complete the whole Service.

In the event that your lateness means that we have to continue beyond the scheduled end time of your appointment in order to complete the Services, you may be required to pay additional fees, as described in the “Additional Fees” clause below.


In the event that you require any Services which are in addition to what you have booked, we may or may not permit them at our discretion. Sometimes time limits will not enable us to perform additional Services. In the event that your hair has not been prepared in accordance with our guidelines (for example, if we have to perform additional blow dries), then we may need to provide additional Services and additional fees may apply.

In the event that you are late, create delays, or are unprepared and this means we need to continue providing Services to you after the scheduled end time of your appointment, additional fees may apply. In the event that you have not properly informed us of factors that would have affected the Quotation had we known about them, then additional fees may apply. 

Additional fees may be quoted to you at the time that we agree to provide additional Services to you or at the commencement of your appointment We may also charge additional fees for additional products if you decide to go ahead with our recommendations or ask for additional Services that require the use of additional products.

We may charge for any damage to our products, tools, appliances and other equipment. If you fail to inform us of infections or a contagious disease, we may also charge you for our products, tools, appliances, or equipment which we have used in connection with your Services and which may need to be disposed of, cleaned or repaired. The charges in relation to these items will be calculated based on the actual replacement cost or the cleaning or repair cost. You must pay any additional fees at the time of delivery of the Services.


If you believe a Product you purchased from us is faulty, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law (“ACL”) as set out in the Consumer and Competition Act 2010 (Cth). Please contact us if you believe you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.

We do not provide exchanges, repairs, replacements or refunds of Products if you simply changed your mind. Any return of any Product can only be made if it is returned within 7 days, unused, unopened and in its original packaging. Please note: you will be subject to payment of the return delivery fees and must ensure we receive the returned Product. GHD products may be replaced by GHD under the GHD warranty policies. In the event that you wish to make a claim in relation to a GHD Product, you may contact us, but you may also contact GHD directly to make a claim under the GHD warranty.


If you believe there is a problem with the Services we have provided, you may be entitled under the ACL to have a refund, or to have the Services provided again. Please contact us if you think there is a problem with the Services. To the extent permitted by law, we do not provide refunds for changes of mind.

We understand that last minute things can pop up. Please do your best to reschedule 48 hours before your appointment. No-shows and last-minute cancellations can impact other clients who want to book appointments with us. If you do not give us at least 48 hours’ notice of your cancellation, you will forfeit 50% of the fees for your Services. If you do not show up for your appointment, and have not cancelled it in advance, you will forfeit 100% of the fees for your Services.

We may cancel your appointment immediately without refund where you breach these Terms, including but not limited to where you are more than 15 minutes late to the appointment, where you fail to adequately inform us of infections or contagious diseases, where you are intoxicated or where you are aggressive, abusive, rude, offensive, discriminatory, obnoxious or violent towards our staff, our customers, or
members of the public. If you need additional services, we may but are not obliged to perform them. They will incur additional costs as described in the “Additional Fees” clause of these Terms. If we need to otherwise cancel the Services a full refund will be provided.


To engage our Services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  •  You will notify us of any infections, conditions or illnesses.
  • You will notify us of any skin and hair conditions and allergies.
  • You must present your hair free from oil, sebum and any hair products, and prepare your hair in accordance with our hair preparation guidelines.
  • You will ensure you show up promptly, and on time to respect other
  • appointments that may follow your appointment and ensure that other persons with appointments are not delayed.
  • You will respect the professional providing the Services to you.
  • You will not use foul language, drink alcohol or smoke while receiving the Services.
  • If we believe you have arrived under the influence of alcohol or drugs, we may refuse our Services and charge you for our time.
  • You will be respectful at all times towards our staff, our customers and members of the public.
  • You will not use aggressive, abusive, rude, discriminatory or obnoxious behaviour. 

We may immediately stop the performance of the Services without refund in the event that you do not comply with any of the above requirements.


We may gather some of your personal information to manage your bookings and payments. Your information will be stored using the Timely point of sale system. We comply with Australian privacy law in relation to the collection, storage and use of your personal information. Please review our privacy policy for further information. The storage of your information will also be subject Timely’s policies, terms and conditions. Please contact Timely or visit www.gettimely.com for further information.


You further acknowledge and agree that we may take photographs/videos of you to use in our marketing and promotional material. If you do not want us to use such photographs/videos of you, please notify us in advance.


Whilst utmost care is taken, we accept no responsibility for loss or damage of your clothes or other personal items whilst in our salon or as a result of your use of the Products, Services or Website. We recommend that you do not bring any items of value with you to the salon and keep all your personal items on or with you at all times while using our Services.


We request that staff and client privacy is respected and you refrain from “friend requesting” our staff on any social media platforms. Official Kleoniki Hair social media pages are available for all enquires.


We offer gift cards which may be used for the purchase of Services only and are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. In the event that you have a remaining balance on a gift card after paying for Services, the remaining balance is not redeemable for cash but can be used as credit for your next appointment. If Services exceed the voucher amount, the balance of the fees must be paid in full using one of our accepted payment methods. Gift cards are transferable to family or friends. Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced or refunded. Gift cards are not exchangeable for cash.


New clients that are returning for a follow up booking are entitled to receive $20 off the cost of their Services at their second visit. This offer is not available with any other offer or discount.


Existing clients who refer a new client to us are eligible to receive $25 off the cost of their Services at their next visit. The new client must mention the referring client at the time of appointment, in order to activate this offer. This offer is not available with any other offer or discount


Students and children are entitled to a 15% discount on Services. A valid student ID must be presented to redeem this offer, and the offer is only available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This offer is not valid with any other offer or discount.


We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to remove, delete, alter or amend any content on the Website or the Website itself, or to alter the Services we offer. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification when it is required. We reserve the right to disclose your name and any other personal details to any law enforcement authority or other competent authority or to any person for the purpose of legal proceedings, prosecution, investigation or any breach, alleged breach of the law or these Terms.


All Product deliveries are handled via Australia post, Australia wide only. We will endeavor to dispatch your order within 24 – 48hrs from the date the order was placed excluding weekends or public holidays. Delays can occur due to corona virus lock downs/delays, stock availability or any other unforeseen circumstances or matters which are outside of our control.

In the case of any delays we will notify you as soon as possible. Once your order is dispatched we will email you a tracking number supplied by Australia Post which can be viewed/tracked via the Australia Post website. All deliveries are subject to Australia Post terms and conditions. If you believe a significant amount of time has passed and you have not yet received your order, please contact us.


You must provide us with sufficient, accurate information to assist us in performing the Services. In particular you must inform us of any allergies, skin and/or hair conditions prior to the delivery of the Services. You agree that we are not liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental loss or damage which may result from your use of our Services, including, any property damage, personal injury or death. This includes, but is not limited to any property damage, personal injury or death suffered by you whilst at our salon or at any other location where we may be providing the Services. We are not liable for any skin complications, or hair loss or damage due to any of our Products and Services. 

We are also not liable for any heat damage or injury to your hair or skin from the use of heated tools like curling irons, flat irons, hair dryers, or damage to any property including but not limited to product spillage on your clothes. In no event will we be liable for any consequential, indirect, incidental or special damages of any kind.


Any Products you purchase through our Website or in our hair salon should be used as directed on the Product container or packaging. As everyone has different skin, body and health conditions which may react to an allergen at any given time, any Product could cause a negative reaction whether with your skin, your hair or otherwise.

You may react differently to various treatments, even natural products. Actual results may vary from person to person. We are not responsible if such a reaction should occur as a result of any Products that you use. If you develop a skin or other sensitivity to any product, you should stop using it immediately and consult your medical professional.

Remember, you should never use new Products on broken or irritated skin and you should discontinue using any Product that causes any of the following: redness, scaling, itching, burning, soreness, blisters, watery eyes, irritation or other similar reactions. Whilst we make every attempt to ensure that the labelling of any Products supplied by the manufacturer accurately lists all of the ingredients used, we rely on the representations and warranties made by the manufacturer.

If you have any sensitivities or allergies to any listed ingredients you should not consume or use these Products. You should test the Products first, on a small area before using any new Product for the first time. Should you develop any symptoms or allergic reactions, discontinue use immediately. We are not responsible if such a reaction should occur as a result of any consumer using our Products.

You should not rely solely on the information contained in this Website as it does not purport to be comprehensive or specific to your personal needs or requirements. Ultimately it is your responsibility and the responsibility of any person using the Products to research the Product and to ensure that it is safe and appropriate for their circumstances. 

If you have any concerns, you should check with your health and hair salon professional before using any of our Products. This disclaimer does not seek to exclude any warranties implied by law which may not lawfully be excluded.


Certain legislation including the Australian Consumer Law (“ACL”) in the Consumer and Competition Act 2010 (Cth), and similar consumer protection laws and regulations may confer you with rights, warranties, guarantees and remedies relating to the provision of goods or services by us to you which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified (“Statutory Rights”).

Our liability to you is governed solely by the ACL and these Terms. While we endeavor to maintain good quality information on our Website and to provide you with useful recommendations, suggestions and other information, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about:

  • The completeness, accuracy or reliability of the information you obtain from the Website, Products or Services; or
  • Whether the Website, Products or Services will be available on an uninterrupted, secure or error-free basis.

We exclude all conditions and warranties implied by custom, law or statute except for your Statutory Rights and we expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. You agree that you must evaluate, and bear all risks associated with, your use of any services provided by any third party service provider and/or information made available to you through or facilitated by our Website. You acknowledge and agree that in relation to the Products we are a retailer only and we are not involved in the manufacture or preparation of any Products that we offer for sale. 

You agree that you must evaluate, and bear all risks associated with, your use of any Products, except for your Statutory Rights. You agree that we are not liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental loss or damage which may result from your use of our Website, Products or Services, including, but not limited to, loss or corruption of data from our Website. For the sake of clarity, in no event will we be liable for any consequential, indirect, incidental or special damages of any kind including any damages for loss of revenue, profits, interruption of business, loss or use of data even if the possibility of such loss was made known to us. When your Statutory Rights apply, to the extent possible, our liability in respect of any claim is limited to, at our option:

  • The supply of any Products or Services again; or
  • The payment of the cost of having any Products or Services supplied again. 

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.


You agree to defend, indemnify and hold us and our partners, employees, contractors, agents and licensees harmless from and against any and all claims, charges, actions, liabilities, investigations, demands and similar including but not limited to any costs, losses or damages whether direct, indirect, consequential or special and all legal fees resulting from:

  • Your breach of our Terms;
  • Any third party claims;
  • Any activity you may engage in through any use of the Website, Products or Services; or
  • Your use of the Website, Products or Services.


We use a variety of photographs, images, custom graphics, icons, logos and service names in our business, including images of hair models. These are our intellectual property and we own the copyright, registered trademarks, trade or service marks in relation to them. You are not permitted to reuse or republish them without our consent.

All other trademarks or service marks within the Website or our business which are not owned by us are the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use any trademark, service mark, logo, copyright and/or our name or any thing you access through the Website, Products or Services. 

You agree and acknowledge that we retain all right, title and interest in the Website and the Services, including but not limited to any inventions and intellectual property rights contained or embodied within the Website or the Services.

You are solely responsible for obtaining written permission before reusing any copyrighted material that is available via the Website, Products or Services. Any unauthorised use of such materials may violate copyright, trademark and other applicable laws and could result in criminal or civil penalties.


These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria which are in force from time to time and both you and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Victoria for determining any dispute concerning these Terms. These Terms were last modified September 2021 and are effective from that date.
